Holland, Mich., (March 21, 2024) – Tiara Yachts, a family-owned manufacturer of American-made luxury watercrafts, today announced that Chris Rumsey, Composite Engineering Group Leader, has been named one of Boating Industry's 40 Under 40 for 2024.

A forward-thinking problem-solver on Tiara’s engineering team, Rumsey has streamlined processes to benefit his team’s productivity and Tiara’s overall success as a company. He credits his 40 Under 40 recognition to Tiara’s encouraging environment and dedication to being the best in its industry.

“I am thrilled to be named one of Boating Industry’s 40 Under 40,” said Rumsey. “The team at Tiara Yachts has been incredibly encouraging in my career and has always given me opportunities to grow in my position. I am honored and grateful to be selected.”

Rumsey joined the Tiara Yachts team in 2020 as a composite process engineer and now leads a team of ten.

Boating Industry’s annual recognition program is now in its eighth year. Selected from hundreds of nominations from across the industry, the 2024 class of 40 Under 40 honorees were chosen for demonstrating leadership and passion in their varying roles. Rumsey is now the second Tiara Yachts’ member to earn the distinction, following Director of Marketing and Communications Whitney Vishey’s 2023 appointment.

Rumsey’s recognition comes on the heels of several recent Tiara Yachts’ accomplishments including: 

•  The launch of Tiara’s newest model and addition to the EX line, the EX 54
•  Tiara’s 16^th consecutive year earning the Marine Industry CSI Award
•  The celebration of Tiara Yachts’ 50^th anniversary
