Yes, all applicants must have an email address in order for your application to be accepted. A Tiara Recruiter will contact you via email, phone number or both. You can set up a free email account through Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail.

A Tiara Recruiter will contact you to set up an interview. Most interviews are scheduled M-F between 9:00am and 3:00pm. This is for all shifts.

 

Because we want to make sure this is a good fit for everyone involved, the interview process may take weeks and you may be asked to come back several times.

 

We practice the STAR method: Situation; Task; Action; Results. Please research this interview method to better prepare for an interview.

Once an offer is accepted, the candidate will need to pass a background check, a physical that includes a pre-employment drug test, and complete the onboarding paperwork prior to starting employment.

 

Note: Tiara obtains all costs for pre-employment physicals and background checks.

It depends on the position and the budgeted funds available.

Internship FAQ

You must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree related to the internship position.

Tiara only participates in summer internship programs. This is approximately a 12-week program that runs from May to August. We are flexible to work around semester dates.

Yes, because we want to simulate the real-world experience, so all internship positions are paid. Rates depend on the position and budgeted funds available.

Recruiting for internship positions typically begin in February through April for the following summer. Please submit your resume at hr@tiarayachts.com

Once you have submitted your application/resume, a recruiter will review your information. They may contact you to discuss your interest and next steps if your qualifications match the available position. This information along with your application/resume is shared with the department management. The next step is to notify candidates to either set up an interview or excuse their submission.

There are plenty of great places to live in the area. However, Tiara does not provide assistance with housing. Some local colleges do offer housing throughout the summer, such as Hope College.

Each internship is depending on current needs. By working together with a team of others, you will have a chance to gain professional experience that extends beyond your field of study.

There is opportunity, however, it is depending upon available funds and needs. This is a case-by-case situation.

We have done this in the past and this depends on need and budgeted funds available. Summer employment jobs are based on job opening needs and may not be a job related to your educational field. These are any job openings for college students to work over their summer break.
